Update: Cardale Jones Clarifies Score After Beating Kid In Video Game
Way back before Ohio State won the championship, a few players decided to do some charitable work. They visited the children’s hospital to raise spirits, sign autographs and play video games. And one of the players present was Cardale Jones, the third string QB who eventually led the team to a national championship after both Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett went down with injuries.
Well, it appears Jones is as competitive with video games as he is on the field: as wide receiver coach Zach Smith tweeted a picture of Cardale destroying a patient 91-35 at NCAA Football.
Of course the photo went viral. But since then, Jones has won the championship and as a result become a national celebrity. Still he wanted to clarify one thing — the final score of the video game.
So there you have it: he beat the kid 98-35. I am glad we can clear that all up.
