‘Club Shay Shay’ Host Shannon Sharpe Accused Of Sexual Assault & Battery In $50M Civil Suit, Vows To Sue Accuser For Defamation
Hall of Fame tight end and media personality Shannon Sharpe is being sued over allegations of sexual assault and battery, according to a civil complaint.
The lawsuit, filed in Clark County, Nevada, on Sunday, is seeking $50 million in damages from Sharpe. The woman who filed the lawsuit is listed as “Jane Doe.”
Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing the woman, who has preferred to remain anonymous, has been involved with many other high-profile cases. Notably, he was involved in the major Deshaun Watson civil suit which dominated headlines for quite some time.
Sharpe addressed the accusations in a video posted to X, where he denies the allegations.

In his statement, Sharpe vows to sue the plaintiff and Buzbee for defamation.
Sharpe played 14 years in the NFL for both the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens. After spending time post-retirement as a host of the FS1 show Undisputed, he is now known for his podcast Club Shay Shay.
He also hosts a podcast with former NFL player Chad Ochocinco called Nightcap.
