Sacramento Kings’ forward DeMar DeRozan was filmed getting into a physical altercation Friday night.

DeRozan was spotted at a sushi restaurant in Southern California just three days after the Kings’ play-in tournament loss to the Dallas Mavericks, when a fan approached his table with his phone flashlight on.

After DeRozan knocked the phone out of the fan’s hand, the altercation got physical. The fan was later taken from the scene by ambulance. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.

In a post on X, the fan alleges DeRozan “attacked” him and “body slapped” him. He also advised others to avoid meeting their heroes.
