Raiders WR Antonio Brown at training camp
Antonio Brown is facing a civil lawsuit that claims the Oakland Raiders receiver failed to pay a $38,000 chef’s bill.
Stefano Tedeschi, who is nicknamed “The Sports Chef,” alleges in the suit he filed in Florida on July 30 that Brown stiffed him on the bill during Pro Bowl festivities in 2018. Brown reportedly rented a mansion in the Orlando area and hired Tedeschi to cook for him and almost 59 teammates and other guests.
According to ESPN, Tedeschi claimed that the agreement was wrongfully terminated, that he wasn’t permitted to obtain his equipment back and that he was never given an official reason for why he was not paid.
“I’ve cooked for countless NFL superstars and celebrities,” Tedeschi said. “Never once have I had one problem [until this]. My food is so good, and my mannerisms in someone’s home is second to none.”

Tedeschi has cooked for Drew Brees, Jameis Winston and Larry Fitzgerald, among other NFL stars.
The chef added Brown offered to pay him via social media advertising.

Brown’s lawyer told ESPN, “We expect to be filing a motion to dismiss the complaint and will let the filing speak for itself.”
The Raiders wideout, who previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is facing two other lawsuits after he allegedly threw items off a 14th-floor balcony in Florida in April 2018 and nearly hit a 2-year-old boy by doing so. Both lawsuits were reportedly for damages exceeding $15,000, per ESPN.
Brown was also allegedly involved in a domestic dispute in Florida in January, although no charges were filed against him. The Raiders receiver recently suffered foot blisters that prevented him from attending practice. However, he returned to training camp on Tuesday following a nearly two-week absence.
