The Revolution is here! Or at least AEW Revolution 2022 is, as it kicked off with a bang Sunday evening as Eddie Kingston finally on “the big one.”

In arguably the most important match of his career, Kingston took on Chris Jericho and eventually tapped him out. The Mad King and his counterpart had been going back and forth for weeks—Jericho said Kingston could never beat The Influencer and win “the big one.”

The wild match was eventually won as Jericho was locked in the Stretch Plum. Jericho then refused to shake Kingston’s hand and walked away.

Kingston’s had previous pay-per-view matches against high-profile talent, but always came up short—thus being labeled as now being able to win “the big one.”
