Fudd, meanwhile, explained the couple’s approach to privacy: “Paige and I are a couple, and everyone close to us that was important knew, but it was kind of one of those things… It’s just, it’s private. Not a secret, but it’s private.”

Bueckers and Fudd met as teammates at UConn, where they helped lead the Huskies to the 2025 national championship, with Fudd earning Most Outstanding Player honors for her performance. Both players have since gone on to star at the professional level, with the Dallas Wings drafting Bueckers in 2025 and the No. 1 overall pick in 2026 going to Fudd.
