When Will Kawhi Leonard Return From His Injury?

Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has been absent from Los Angeles’s lineup for the past three playoff games, and the team is becoming more desperate to have him back on the court after falling to the Suns in the first game of the Western Conference Finals.

Leonard will undoubtedly be out for the next matchup between the two heavyweight teams – he did not travel to Phoenix with the team, however, there is optimism surrounding his return.

Leonard’s teammate, Reggie Jackson, discussed the superstar’s absence.

“He’s been here in spirit. He’s been here vocally,” Jackson said. “He’s been with the team. He’s making sure we’re good and giving us his best wishes. Still checking in. Keeping up-to-date. Like I said, he’s doing everything he can to still have an impact on this team while he’s away and doing everything he can to make sure he gets back as fast as possible.”

This statement about Leonard certainly is more optimistic than pessimistic and combined with the fact that Leonard was at Game 6 against the Jazz without any physical signs of injury point to a possible return to this series.

Leonard has been a sparkplug for the Clippers, who undoubtedly are anxiously awaiting the return of one of the most prolific scorers and stingy defenders in the league.
