Duke recruit Zion Williamson injures thumb in McDonald's All-American Game
Newly-recruited Duke forward Zion Williamson has already made a name for himself, as a top NBA prospect, but on Tuesday he wowed fans even more with a magnificent dunk.
Williamson, 18, is a big guy to say the least: He is 6-foot-7 and weighs 285 pounds, and he used his size to thrown down a spectacular dunk from the free-throw line at a practice on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils forward’s teammates unsuprisingly cheered him on in amazement.

Williamson has already drawn comparisons to top NBA stars like LeBron James and Julius Randle because of his strength and playing style. What seems certain is that the youngster is poised to play for a great collegiate program under Mike Krzyzewski, one of the NCAA’s top basketball coaches.

According to NBC Sports, Williamson also recently impressed at Duke by setting a team record for the vertical leap last month. Williamson would probably be one of the heaviest players in the NBA if he were to join the league soon.
