Rays vs. Yankees (Aug. 15) Game Preview: Time Start, Channel, Starting Pitchers

The New York Yankees will host the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday night, and here is what you need to know.

This will be the second game of a three-game series. The Yankees (75-44, .630) beat the Rays (60-59, .504) 4-1 on Tuesday, a win that came after a brutal 8-5 loss to the Mets. Tampa Bay previously lost to Toronto 2-1 on Sunday.

The Yankees and Rays are second and third in the AL East, respectively. The Boston Red Sox comfortably (86-35) lead the division.

Luis Cessa (1-2, 4.50 ERA) will start for New York against fellow righty Jake Faria (4-3, 4.97 ERA) on Wednesday. Cessa has 17 strikeouts this season, while Faria has struck out 44 batters.
