The main event of the WWE’s flagship show was an all-female matchup. A sold-out crowd of 82,265 ate it up and the WWE pulled in $16.9 million, surpassing the previous venue record of $12.3 million set in 2013 at WrestleMania 32, which was held at AT&T Stadium at Texas.
Irish wrestler Becky Lynch beat former UFC fighter Ronda Rousey as well as Charlotte Flair and walked away with the Smackdown and Raw championships, the two flagship divisions of the WWE.
