UCLA Cheerleader Falls Twice During Timeout vs Oregon

Sophie Lellis-Petrie seemed to lose her balance and fell hard on her lower back while attempting to complete a pyramid during a timeout.

Then, just seconds after that disastrous routine, she hit the ground again after one of her cheer-mates carried her off the court so she could receive medical attention.

The young man rushed so quickly that he tripped on a bag and the pair came tumbling down, with him falling on top of her.

“Say a prayer, light a candle for that young angel of UCLA,” ESPN analyst Bill Walton said during the telecast, per SB Nation.

Luckily, Lellis-Petrie was not seriously injured and eventually returned to the court for the 10th-ranked Bruins’ 82-79 comeback victory over the No. 5 Oregon Ducks.

UCLA trailed by as many as 19 points during the game.
