Jets’ Breece Hall Thigh Injury Update
New York Jets RB Breece Hall left Sunday’s game with a thigh injury after he “felt something” while he was running before being tackled.
New York’s 31-24 loss moved them to 1-2 this season, but Hall might be worth more than a single loss. Hall is the explosive player on the Jets offense, and losing him would lower the potential of how well the offense could produce.
He underwent an MRI, and it seems like Hall has avoided the worst-case scenario, as the MRI told the team that they weren’t looking at a long-term injury, which is the good news. The bad news is the Jets can’t even afford to lose him for a few games, and it seems likely he will miss Week 4 against the Chicago Bears even though the official injury report lists him as “week-to-week.”
Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis are the next two up on the depth chart, and they are expected to split duties while Hall is sidelined if he does indeed miss some of the upcoming games for New York.

The Jets have the Bears, Browns, Patriots and Dolphins in their next four games, which should be the absolute longest Hall would be out barring any setbacks. All things considered, this wouldn’t be the worst time of the season to be without Hall compared to other stretches, but it is also a stretch where the Jets will need to capitalize to keep their playoff hopes alive, and doing that without Hall would be difficult.
