The San Antonio Spurs will visit the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.
The defending NBA champion Warriors defeated Brooklyn 114-101 on Tuesday night to clinch their fifth-straight 50-win season.
Thursday’s matchup will be the third of four between the Dubs and Spurs this season. Golden State (50-14, second in Western Conference) won the first two.
The Warriors trail the West-leading Houston Rockets by just one game. San Antonio (37-27, fifth in West) has won at least 50 games in each of the last 18 seasons (thus establishing an NBA record). The Spurs are 1.5 games behind Portland in third, but only three games ahead of Utah in 10th.
