Every now and then, Memphis Grizzlies forward and 38-year-old veteran Vince Carter will show the basketball world that he can still get jump high into the air. When doing this usually, he will finish it off with a powerful dunk basketball that still impresses NBA fans today.

Carter did this yesterday during the Grizzlies’ home game against the Boston Celtics. In the early minutes of the fourth quarter, Carter drove to the basket from and finished the move with a powerful dunk that had him soaring through the air.

The Grizzlies would go on to win the game with a score of 101-98 after the Celtics had a 55-40 deficit lead at halftime. What led the Grizzlies to come back into contention was an 18-2 run late in the third quarter which caused the lead to cut down to 76-68 going into the fourth quarter. Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph had a double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds while Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas scored 35 points of his own to lead the Celtics in scoring.
