UFC Main UFC Card Headlining Oliveira & Makhachev Is On Early Today – How & When To Watch, Odds
This Saturday, the UFC will be on much earlier than usual and it will headline Charles Oliveira against Islam Makhachev.
The event is taking place in Abu Dhabi, where the main card is set to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
The pay-per-view can be viewed on ESPN+ for $74.99, while the prelims, which are underway, can be watched on ESPN+ or ESPN News.
The full main card is as follows today:
- Oliveira vs Makhachev
- TJ Dillashaw vs Aljamain Sterling
- Petr Yan vs Sean O’Malley
- Beneil Dariush vs Mateusz Gamrot
- Katlyn Chookagian vs Manon Fiorot
Also, it’s worth noting that Belal Muhammad and Sean Brady are fighting in the prelims.
Both are top-10 ranked fighters in the Welterweight division.
Makhachev will be the favorite in the main event and is currently a -190.
That’s despite him not facing a top-10-ranked opponent in the Lightweight division.
During his last bout, Makhachev fought 35-year-old Bobby Green, who took the fight on short notice at 160 pounds.
He wound up winning by technical knockout after getting Green to the ground.
Olivera, on the other hand, has beaten former UFC Lightweight interim champions Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje in his last two fights.
They are ranked second and third respectively in the Lightweight division – and ahead of Makhachev.
The biggest favorite on tonight’s main card is Yan at -280 today.
After today, the next PPVs are scheduled for November 12 and December 10.
The main event in November card will headline Israel Adesanya against Alex Pereira.
Meanwhile, the UFC has yet to lock in a main event on the December 10 card.
It has been trying to work on a fight that would headline Jon Jones.
Also, Paddy Pimblett will make his PPV debut on the December card against Jared Gordon.
