Trump Was Never Scheduled To Throw Out First Pitch For Yankees, Only Announced Event Due To Jealousy Of Dr. Anthony Fauci

Over the weekend, and an hour before Dr. Anthony Fauci was set to throw out the first pitch at a Washington Nationals game, President Donald Trump tweeted that he would no longer be throwing out the first pitch at the August 15 game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox citing his busy schedule with the “China Virus” and other issues. The problem: Trump reportedly had never scheduled any such event. When Trump originally announced that he would be throwing out the Yankees’ first pitch, officials and his own team had to scramble to see if the event had ever been scheduled. It had not.

Trump detailed the invitation to reporters. “Randy Levine is a great friend of mine from the Yankees,” Trump said, referring to the president of the team. “And he asked me to throw out the first pitch, and I think I’m doing that on Aug. 15 at Yankee Stadium.”

The Yankees have not released an official statement on the controversy.
