Those scam calls and texts about your car’s extended warranty wouldn’t be so bad if the person on the other end of the line was in reality a future NFL Hall of Famer and arguably the best to ever play the game.
Just ask the Buccaneers’ Tristan Wirfs, who was on the business end of one such text from his quarterback.
“Tristan, we’ve been trying to reach you regarding your car’s extended warranty,” thwarted Dolphins owner/player Tom Brady texted his tackle.
“Just kidding your car is fine… it’s your favorite Qb.”

It all started at a recent media session, when the 23-year-old said he didn’t have the 44-year-old’s phone number, which elicited laughter from the media and an “I don’t think I’m there yet” follow-up.
