Tom Brady Pranks Teammate Tristan Wirfs As Fake Insurance Salesman
Those scam calls and texts about your car’s extended warranty wouldn’t be so bad if the person on the other end of the line was in reality a future NFL Hall of Famer and arguably the best to ever play the game.
Just ask the Buccaneers’ Tristan Wirfs, who was on the business end of one such text from his quarterback.
“Tristan, we’ve been trying to reach you regarding your car’s extended warranty,” thwarted Dolphins owner/player Tom Brady texted his tackle.
“Just kidding your car is fine… it’s your favorite Qb.”

It all started at a recent media session, when the 23-year-old said he didn’t have the 44-year-old’s phone number, which elicited laughter from the media and an “I don’t think I’m there yet” follow-up.

Brady apparently heard the comments and decided to have some phone fun with the youngster.
The Buccaneers’ first-round pick in 2020 replied and apologized to the 199th pick in the 2000 draft, albeit in a spelling-be-damned manner.
“Sorry you’re mentions we’re probably blowing up today,” he said.
