Tickets For 2017 U.S. Open Golf Tournament In Erin Hills, Wisconsin (June 12) On Sale
Attention, golf fans: ticket for the 2017 U.S. Open Golf tournament are now on sale!
This year’s Open will be held at Erin Hills Golf Course in Wisconsin, with previews scheduled to begin on Monday, June 12 and the first round on June 15.
General Admission tickets for Gallery seating begin at $13 on ticketsnow.com, a partner site of ticketmaster.com. Tickets will generally ship within three business days via UPS. Trophy tickets currently start at $26, and are guaranteed delivery by the start of the event.
The favorite to win the 2017 tournament is World No. 1 Dustin Johnson, the 2016 U.S. Open champion. The South Carolina native, who will be 33 in June, missed the Masters with a last-minute back injury from falling down stairs. The lesion only sidelined Johnson for the week and is not believed to be serious.
Sergio Garcia defeated Justin Rose in a playoff in this year’s Masters at Augusta National in April.
Erin Hills is nearly 8,000 yards long, so Johnson will likely hold an advantage due to his length. The course will play as a par-72, marking the first U.S. Open to be played that way in 25 years. Dry conditions are also expected given Wisconsin’s weather that time of year.
