Red Sox Vs. Phillies (Aug. 14) Game Preview: Time Start, Channel, Starting Pitchers

The Boston Red Sox will visit the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night, and here is what you need to know.

This will be the opener of a two-game series. The Phillies (65-52) are coming off a three-game series against the San Diego Padres, to whom they lost two games. Meanwhile, the Red Sox (85-35) continue to dominate not only their division — by a comfortable 10 games over the second-place New York Yankees (74-44) — but the entire league. Boston has won 14 of its last 17 games, including most recently a four-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles.
