During the Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks game, fan Joyce Murphy Kiner came inches away from grabbing a home run ball. But when the 63-year-old dropped it, another male fan came barreling over to take it away.
The announcers were obviously perturbed by what this guy just did, so they sent Kiner an Arizona Diamondbacks shirt, which she graciously accepted and put on.
And afterwards, she was treated to even more luxuries, as she appeared on Philly’s 97.5 the Fanatic. There she criticized the man for stealing the ball from her and said, “You do not do that to a lady.” And for her troubles, the radio station also handed her “a pair of front-row tickets to a future game and a gift from a local jeweler,” according to ESPN.
