Add a fourth to that list: Paul George.
The 26-year-old Indiana Pacers small forward and Nike unveiled his first signature shoe, the PG1, on Monday.
The “2K” colorway references George’s love of gaming and his appearance on the cover of NBA 2K17.

The low-cut sneaker, designed by Tony Hardman, features a forefoot strap, Flywire cable, and forefoot Zoom Air cushioning. The shoe also has fish scale paneling and a bobber-inspired lacelock alluding to George’s love of fishing.
The shoe also features a multidirectional scale-inspired blade traction that provides the ultimate court grip.
The forward will debut his Nike PG1 as the Pacers face the Denver Nuggets in London on Jan. 12. He showed a preview of the shoe on Instagram on Monday. George is the 21st athlete overall to own a shoe with Nike.
The suggested retail price for the sneaker is set at $110. Nike’s press release on the sneaker omits any firm release date info, saying only that additional launch details are to come.
Adidas and Under Armour have been more and more competitive with Nike over the past year, which may be why Nike has decided to release a brand new shoe.
Houston Texans star J.J. Watt released his own shoe with Reebok last summer.
