The New York Giants will kick off their 2017 preseason by hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday.

The Steelers will not have many starters at their disposal, for both personnel and injury reasons. However, the matchup between two teams that finished the 2016 season with an 11-5 record should still prove to be very exciting.

Here are all the details of the matchup, including how to watch:

WHEN: Friday, August 11, 2017.

WHERE: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford.

KICKOFF TIME: 7 pm EST.

LOCAL TELEVISION: WNBC-4 in New York.

TV BROADCAST TEAM: Bob Papa will be the play-by-play man, Carl Banks will be the analyst and Bruce Beck and Howard Cross will report from the sidelines.

NATIONAL TELEVISION: NFL Network live simulcast (check local listings).

Live stream: NFL.com.

LOCAL RADIO: WCBS 880 AM in New York.

RADIO BROADCAST TEAM: Chris Carrino will be the play-by-play man and Shaun O’Hara will be the analyst.

In their previous (regular-season) meeting in December, the Steelers defeated the Giants 24-14 in Pittsburgh.

According to NJ.com, the Giants will likely be missing Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. Big Blue — led by second-year coach Ben McAdoo — will likely start either Josh Johnson or Geno Smith at quarterback.

The Steelers, meanwhile, announced Wednesday that rookie quarterback Joshua Dobbs will start in place of veteran passer Ben Roethlisberger, who is out with an injury along with star wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell will also probably miss Friday’s preseason opener after holding out on this year’s training camp.
