Rumors are circulating about which team Paul Millsap will play for this upcoming season. The Golden State Warriors and the Brooklyn Nets have reportedly expressed interest in signing the 36-year-old power forward. Both teams have over 15 players under contract, but several of them aren’t under guaranteed deals.

Millsap’s versatility on defense could lead him to a prominent bench role for either squad. The Warriors will prioritize center James Wiseman’s development, which would leave him competing for minutes with Kevon Looney and Nemanja Bjelica. With the Nets questionably parting ways with Jeff Green, Millsap may perhaps get an opportunity with Brooklyn, especially if Kevin Durant starts at small forward, where playing time would be divided up between him, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan and Nic Claxton.

While the four-time all-star isn’t the same player from his days with the Hawks, Millsap’s skill and experience on both sides of the floor would still be a solid addition to any playoff team.
