The Celtics — who finished second in the Eastern Conference — lead the series 3-2 after their 92-87 Game 5 win on Tuesday. This series has been tight, as Game 1 ended in overtime after both squads sank three-pointers in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter.
Whichever team wins this series would go on to play the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round. The Sixers eliminated the Miami Heat in five games with a win on Tuesday.
Game 6 between Boston and seventh-seeded Milwaukee will begin at 8pm EST on Thursday, and will air on TNT. If necessary, Game 7 will be played Saturday at 8pm EST in Boston.
Also in Round 2 of the playoffs, the winner of the Indiana/Cleveland series will face the winner of the Washington/Toronto series.
LeBron James sank a three-pointer at the buzzer at Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday to lift the Cavaliers to a 98-95 victory over the Pacers in Game 5. Cleveland now leads the series 3-2.
