Max Caster Released By TNA Wrestling For Insensitive Rap About Bombs Hitting Saudi Arabia
TNA Wrestling released Max Caster one day after he made his first appearance with the company over “insensitive comments” he made during a promo.
Caster made his name in professional wrestling in All Elite Wrestling as part of The Acclaimed faction with Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn. Caster made his TNA debut at Bound for Glory on Sunday, Oct.11.
Caster, who is also a rapper, uses rap as part of his character and performs on his way to the ring. Over the years, he has used his raps to taunt his opponents or take jabs at other companies like WWE. During his debut entrance, Caster made a line that referenced bombs hitting Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, which has been the target of terrorist attacks at its airports that resulted in deaths and several injuries.
The promo drew backlash from wrestling fans, and TNA Wrestling apologized for Caster’s promo, posting on social media that Caster “will no longer be wrestling for TNA.”

“Making light of violent attacks is wrong. This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize,” TNA said in a statement. “We have removed the segment from replays and our social channels and are taking steps to ensure something like this never happens again.”
Caster has drawn controversy for his past rapping. In August 2021, during his time with AEW, he made references to COVID-19 tests being fake, Simone Biles’ mental health, the Duke lacrosse rape case, and a sexual joke about a wrestler. The segment was removed from programming, and AEW founder Tony Khan condemned it, which led to his removal from television for a period.
