With two and a half weeks remaining in this year’s regular season, the Miami Marlins released their 2017 regular season schedule on Wednesday.
The Marlins will open the new season April 3 against the Nationals in Washington, D.C., followed by a trip to New York to face the Mets.
Miami’s home slate begins with a two-game series against the Atlanta Braves on April 11.
The Marlins’ inter-league schedule features the Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros, Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays. The Athletics, Astros, Angels and Rays will visit Marlins Park. Miami will play the other three teams on the road.

The All-Star Break will take place from July 10-13 with the Home Run Derby on the 10th. The All-Star Game will be on the 11th, and both events will be hosted at Marlins Park. Miami will remain home following the Midsummer Classic for series against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies.
The Marlins’ longest home-stand will come at the end of June with 10 games. During that long home stretch, the team will host the Nationals, Chicago Cubs (for a four-game series), and the Mets.
The 2017 season for the Marlins will end on Oct. 1 with a home game against the Braves. The season-ending series will be four games long.

Miami most recently finished a three-game road series against the Braves, which the Marlins won 2-1. Miami won 7-5 at Turner Field on both Tuesday and Wednesday night, and lost 12-7 on Monday night.
The Marlins (73-73, 3rd in NL East) will next begin a three-game weekend series against the Phillies in Philadelphia on Friday night, with right-hander Tom Koehler (9-11, 3.97 ERA) set to make his 30th start for Miami. It’s the third straight season Koehler has made at least 30 starts. The Phillies counter with left-hander Adam Morgan (2-10, 5.73 ERA), who has not won a home start this season — 0-6 (5.62 ERA).
