Jimmy Fallon Interviews Villanova Crying Piccolo Girl Roxanne Chalifoux

On last night’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the comedian brought on viral sensation Roxanne Chalifoux, aka the crying piccolo girl from Villanova.

On Saturday night, the first-seeded Villanova was upset by NC State — Nova has not made it past the Round of 32 since 2009. During this latest disappointment, Roxanne, who is in the school’s band, tried to choke back her emotions while playing. Instead, she was shown on national television crying while continuing to play, which went completely viral.

As a result, Fallon brought her on to jam with his longtime show band The Roots, where she got to sit in for the entire show. On top of this, Fallon interviewed her and even gave her a parting gift – tickets to Taylor Swift’s world tour.
