Former New England Patriots linebacker and current ESPN NFL Analyst Tedy Bruschi posted on Instagram Sunday that he is “doing much better” following a stroke that he suffered last week.
In the Instagram post, Bruschi revealed that around 10:30 a.m EST. on July 4, he lost the use of his left arm and began to slur his speech when attempting to speak. Bruschi then revealed that his wife noticed that the left side of Bruschi’s face was drooping when he turned towards her.
“We immediately knew what was happening. These are stroke warning signs. We called 911 and an ambulance got me to the hospital. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers. I’m doing much better,” he wrote.
