Eddie Hall, aka ‘The Beast,’ just broke the world deadlifting record by one kg or roughly 2.2 pounds. The feat took place at the Arnold Classic Australia, a yearly sports festival hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger himself.

The monster lifted 1,018.5 pounds with relative ease. He even cockily held the bending barbell up for about five seconds before putting it down. But the best part of the video was Arnold Schwarzenegger cheering him on from a feet away.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a world record deadlift at the Arnold Classic Australia. 462 kilos – 1,018 pounds. Congrats to Eddie Hall.
