Chargers’ Mike Williams Leaves Vikings Game Early, Team Fears Season-Ending Knee Injury
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams had to leave early with a knee injury during the Charger’s week three matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
Before the injury, Williams had six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown before having to leave with an injury in the third quarter. He was then helped off the field and was carted off to the locker room.
The Chargers now are concerned Williams won’t be available for the season, they are thinking the knee injury will be significant.
With seven years under his NFL belt, Williams’ has had 230 receiving yards for the Chargers’ first three games. William has not played a full season in 5 years. He missed four games in the 2022 season. The Chargers are currently 1-2, winning their first game against the Vikings 28-24 on Sunday.
