Allyson Felix, Olympic Gold Medalist, Gets The… by uSports

Allyson Felix is one of the hottest track and field superstars running today. After winning silver in the 400m relay in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she returned in full force for London 2012 where she won three gold medals — two in relays and one in a solo 200m race. So how was she able to garner such strides in four short years? A seemingly super-human power of hard work. Her determination that keeps her training for roughly “six days a week, five hours a day… on the track doing speed workouts and endurance [drills].” Now she roughly does the track workouts for three hours, with the other two being spent “in the gym doing plyometrics, free weights, Olympic lifts and all that good stuff.”
