The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly signed Terrace Marshall Jr., a former Carolina Panther and Las Vegas Raider, to a one-year deal.

Marshall, a second-round pick in 2021, had a turbulent career with Carolina. He posted 64 catches for 767 yards and a touchdown over three years with them, with 490 of those yards coming in the 2022 season. After Carolina released him after training camp last offseason, he had a stint on the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad before eventually landing with the Raiders, where he posted three catches for 41 yards on 140 offensive snaps.

Marshall, 24, will now get an opportunity to make himself an asset to the Eagles.

Within a top-heavy receiver corps featuring A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith, Marshall likely won’t get much airtime. Still, the signing is an opportunity both for Marshall and for Philadelphia, who will see if they can pull another diamond from the rough.
