Earlier today, the UEFA Champions league round of 16 were drawn and the results showed some rematches from past years and new matchups that will have the European football competition destined for another exciting tournament.

The main surprise in the draw was seeing defending champions Barcelona against Arsenal, their fourth meeting in the last decade but their first since 2011. Other distinctive matches include Roma versus Real Madrid and Bayern Munich against Juventus, who were last year’s finalists. Chelsea will go up against Paris St-Germain while Manchester City will face Dynamo Kiev. First legs are scheduled to be played on February 16-17 and 23-24 while return legs March 8-9 and 15-16. An interesting detail about the Manchester City-Dynamo Kiev match is there will be no supporters allowed in the stadium because of Dynamo Kiev supporters having racist remarks against Chelsea during a group-stage match in October. The draw for quarterfinals will be on March 18 while the semifinals will take place April 15.

You can see the full list of matches from the draw below.
