Cleveland Browns Unveil Their New Questionable Uniforms
So the Cleveland Browns have been hiding their offseason frustrations with the potential announcement of their all-new wardrobe. And now that it is finally here, it has left plenty of people scratching their heads.
After the so-called color change on their helmets, they have revealed their home, away and alternate jersey at a huge press conference.
In Nike’s press release, they called the design “a holistic look that honors tradition, celebrates the fans and represents Cleveland’s industrial and architectural evolution.”
Notable additions have to be the fairly large “Cleveland” on the jersey and the “Browns” on the side of the game pants. Could the text be any larger? Was the owner worried that the players would forget who they were playing for?
All problems aside, the inclusion of “Dawg Pound” in the neckline is a nice little ode to the fans, who have been to hell and back rooting for this franchise: they have not made the playoffs since 2002 and have not won a playoff game since 1994.
However, best tweet about the new jerseys has to go to Sports Nation Ohio.
For the sake of the fans, lets hope they improved the team because they have had plenty of offseason distractions.
