Perry Baker, the renowned U.S. Olympic rugby star, is gearing up for the upcoming Paris Olympics with a seasoned approach to both his physical and mental preparation. In a recent statement, Baker highlighted the depth of his experience that comes with years of dedicated training.

“I’ve been doing it for so long, I feel like my body just knows when it’s called upon and when it’s time to go like it’s ready to go,” Baker said.

Baker also touched on the mental aspect of his preparation, emphasizing the importance of focus and the mindset required during competitions. “And as far as the mental part of it, just like once I go on tour, it kind of hits me to know while I am away from my family, while I am here on this tour like when it’s time to go and it’s game time like I am just dialed in,” he said.
