UFC fighters Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier got into a heated Twitter fight over the weekend.

The exchange first started when Poirier responded to McGregor’s prediction of their upcoming fight. Poirier accused McGregor of not donating $500,000 to charity as promised after their previous fight earlier in January.

“That’s a fun prediction! @TheNotoriousMMA you also predicted a donation to my foundation and you and your team stopped responding after the fight in January,” Poirier wrote.

McGregor instantly responded, but he was not happy with the accusation. “A donation, not a debt,” McGregor started it off, “We’ve been awaiting the plans for the money that never came…. I do with all my donations, know where it’s going dot for dot. Otherwise, it goes walking. As is the case with a lot of these foundations, sadly.”

The American fighter tweeted back. “100% never a debt,” Poirier wrote to McGregor. “You offered, we accepted, and like I said your Team never responded to our emails regarding the process of where funds would be put to work! July 10th you will taste defeat yet Again”

The Irishman then proceeded to go on a tirade against Poirier and seemingly called off the fight, writing, “the fight is off.”

However, Poirier responded with one word and a clip of him knocking out McGregor in their previous fight.
