Retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather drew attention after he appeared in a series of photos with a 19-year-old British teen named Raemarni Ball, leading many to suspect Ball is his new girlfriend.

However, the girl’s mother, Mandy Ball, was one of the first to shut down the rumors that the two are romantically linked, and stated that they are just friends. She said it is ‘daft’ to think her daughter is dating the 39-year-old boxer, and backs up claims that the New Look shop assistant is dating AA car mechanic Andre Brown, also 19.
She said: “She’s only 19 and she’s got a boyfriend. I have spoken to her since she landed and she says she is having a whale of a time. Floyd asked her if she wanted a holiday in America and why would she refuse. It’s the trip of a lifetime.”
The pair reportedly met at an expensive fan meet-and-greet in Cannock, a town north of Birmingham, England on Feb. 12, and have been inseparable friends ever since. Ball reportedly paid 600 pounds (about $869) to meet Mayweather.

Given Mayweather’s history of how he treats women, Ball’s mother and numerous others were understandably concerned when the photos surfaced.
Ball has since been trotting the globe with the former boxing champ.
