ESPN’s Holly Rowe To Undergo Surgery To Remove Chest Tumor
ESPN Reporter Holly Rowe stated Tuesday that she will be undergoing surgery that same day to remove a tumor in her chest. Rowe stated she would know more in the coming days about what potential steps she would be taking for treatment. She explained that she had a previous tumor removed from her chest in May.

Rowe primarily covers college football and basketball. She has been with ESPN since 1998 and has also covered the NBA, WNBA and softball.
“I am very grateful for the support of my bosses at ESPN, who are fully behind me as I take the time to beat this, as well as the incredible connections to The V Foundation,” she stated. “I also sincerely appreciate the guidance of colleague Shelley Smith, who battled cancer so courageously last year.”
“I know I can conquer anything with prayer, love, positive energy and the support of good people behind me, and I am thankful for my son and amazing family,” Rowe also added. “I hope to be back at work soon doing what gives me so much joy in life.”
