The NCAA Wrestling Championship finals took place at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday, and for the fifth time in six years, the Penn State Nittany Lions emerged victorious.

The Nittany Lions topped runner-up Oklahoma State, 123-97.5, while Ohio State (86) and Virginia Tech (82) rounded out the top four spots on the team podium at Madison Square Garden. Penn State also faced the Missouri Tigers in the finals.

Iowa placed fifth with 81 points, failing to make the top four for the first time since 2007.

Rider was 24th with 19 and got a fifth-place finish from former Camden Catholic star Chad Walsh while Brett Harner became Princeton’s first All-American since 2003 by placing eighth at 197 pounds.
