Just two days after beloved Lakers’ superstar and future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant and his daughter Giannawere killed, friends and family are still trying to make sense of this horrific tragedy.

More details of the investigation will be reported when available but it wasn’t an unusual occurrence for Bryant to use his Sikorsky S-76B for transportation. In an interview with Barstool Sports with Alex Rodriguez, “Big Cat” Bryant revealed why he decided to use a helicopter.

“Traffic started getting really, really bad,” said Bryant. “And I was sitting in traffic and I wound up missing like a school play, because I was sitting in traffic … I had to figure out a way where I could still train and focus on the craft but still not compromise family time. So that’s when I looked into helicopters, to be able to get down and back in 15 minutes and that’s when it started.”
