UFC 276 Preview: Israel Adesanya v. Jared Cannonier – How To Get Tickets

Israel Adesanya is arguably one of the biggest draws in all of UFC. The anime-loving, quick-striking, and trash-talking fighter has been one of the most exciting fighters for the past few years – and the most successful. Adesanya is 22-1 all-time in his MMA career and has held the middleweight title for the last three years.

That title will be up for grabs in a bout with Jared Cannonier on July 2, in the highly anticipated UFC 276 event. Cannonier is no pushover, boasting a record of 15-5 over the last nine years. Cannonier took home the Alaskan Fighting Championship Heavyweight title in 2014 but has since re-classed to the middleweight class. The 38-year-old will be participating in his first title fight in eight years.

This isn’t the only title fight on the card, however. The co-main event will be headlined by Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway in the Featherweight Championship fight. Volkanovski (24-1) is the reigning Featherweight champion, a title that he has held for the last three years, and has defended extremely well. Holloway (23-6) has previously held the Featherweight title and has fought Dustin Poirier for the Lightweight title as well. He lost the Featherweight title to Volkanovski in 2019 and lost a chance to claim it back a year later in 2020. This will be their third all-time meeting with the two fighters, and Holloway will look to take back the title.

UFC 276 will take place on Saturday, July 2 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pay-per-view information on the match has not been released as of yet.
