U.S. Open 2019 Pebble Beach Tournament: Predictions, Odds, Start Time, Channel

Pebble Beach Golf Links is hosting the U.S. Open for the sixth time in its history this year. The iconic California coast course has a $2.16 million prize, along with the coveted silver trophy. Pebble Beach is amongst the most famous of golf courses in the United States, with infamous holes like No. 7 and 17.

A variety of worthy champions will be battling on the West Coast shoreline, with Brooks Koepka as the odds favorite, as he is chasing back-to-back-to-back U.S. Open titles. He is the first player in 29 years to win two in a row, and would be the second player in golf history to win it three consecutive years. Along with Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlory and Jordan Spieth are favorite contenders. Mickelson is entering his 28th U.S. Open, while according to Forbes, Woods was the top pick for bettors at the Super Book USA. The 2019 Masters champion leads all the PGA Tour in greens in regulation at 72.6 percent.

For other contenders, McIlory is having a great season in the Open, being one of the more consistent players this season, as he recently performed at the Canadian Open with a 61 last week. Spieth is another contender in the featured groupings. In his last three rounds, he has finished in the top-10 after a shaky past two seasons.
