The Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers saw a Pacific Northwest matchup where the Blazers came out with an overtime win by a final of 129-124.
The game was… interesting. Golden State had only eight players because all they had available were eight players. The opposing sideline saw nine players because the Blazers only had nine players.
The last time these two faced off was the Western Conference finals, but the teams looked quite different. Golden State no longer has Kevin Durant or Andre Iguodala, and the Blazers parted ways with Meyers Leonard and Seth Curry.
Aside from players who have moved on, injuries plagues both sides. Golden State was down superstars Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, while the Blazers were missing CJ McCollum, Rodney Hood and Zach Collins.

Damian Lillard was the stand out, putting together a very impressive performance in his career. He recorded a franchise-record 61 points with 11 three-pointers and became the only player in Blazers history to score 60-plus points twice in the same season.
“It was just the mentality,” Lillard said. “We walked through the shootaround and did everything we needed to do. Even when I went home after shootaround, it was just one of those days. When I came here, I wasn’t coming here to lose this game. It was as simple as that.”
The Warriors (10-35) will look to avenge a tough loss despite injuries as they host the Jazz (30-13) today, Jan. 22, at 10 p.m. ET.
As for the Blazers (19-26), they host the Mavericks tomorrow, Jan. 23, at 10:30 p.m. ET as they hope to keep a positive streak alive.
