Tom Brady Wins $1M In First-Ever Fanatics Games – Give Money To 50 Fans

Future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Tom Brady became the first ever winner of the Fanatics Games in New York on Sunday.

The event puts athletes and fans against each other in a series of competitions. The 100 participants compete in a quarterback skills challenge, a basketball shooting challenge, a soccer goal-scoring challenge, a baseball pitching challenge, a hockey shooting challenge, a WWE-style entrance challenge, and a closest-to-the-pin golf challenge.

Brady finished with 399.1 points to win. UFC fighter Justin Gaethje finished in second with 345.5 points, winning a Ferrari 812 GTS.

Brady’s reward, a $1 million prize, he said, will be split among the 50 fans who competed in the event, with $5,000 each. The remaining money will be donated to charity.

Six fans finished in the top ten, with the third-place winner being third-grade teacher Matt Dennish. Dennish won a 2003-04 Topps Chrome Gold Refractor LeBron James rookie card, which he reportedly sold to Brady for $250,000.

Other athletes who competed in the event include James Harden, Eli Manning and Tyreek Hill, among others.

Travis Hunter finished with the lowest score of any athlete with a 51.6.

The games were part of the Fanatics Fan Fest weekend, which included other events such as athletes speaking live, autographs and a press conference for the fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.
