Tom Brady called the third game of his broadcasting career last Sunday in Tampa Bay as the Buccaneers took on the Philadelphia Eagles and did not pull any punches.
Earlier in the week, current Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield explained how he turned his career and team around when he arrived in Florida.
“They wanted me to come in, be myself, bring the joy back to football to guys that were not having as much fun.”
Some took that as a shot to Brady’s no-nonsense approach to the game, so the G.O.A.T let his opinion known when given the opportunity.

“I thought stressful was not having Super Bowl rings. This wasn’t daycare… If I was going to have fun, I was going to Disneyland with my kids. There’s a way to approach this game, and it’s with the right mindset to push teammates.”
After the game, each side gave the other their flowers as Mayfield walked back his comment, saying, “I think a lot of that got taken out of context. Nothing personal,” he said. “He did it his own way, and that’s why he’s got seven rings.”
Brady gave Mayfield his MVP as Tampa Bay blew out the Eagles at home.
Mayfield accounted for the game’s first three touchdowns as the Bucs launched out to a 21-0 first-half lead. He threw for 347 passing yards on 47 passing attempts with no interceptions as his team bounced back from a loss the week before and improved their record to 3-1.
In case anyone forget, Brady played the final three seasons of his career in Tampa after spending the first 20 years in New England. He won a Super Bowl in his first season with the Bucs and made the playoffs the following two seasons.
