Suns To Waive C/F Frank Kaminsky

The Phoenix Suns plan to waive C/F .

Kaminsky averaged 10.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in nine games, his second season in the desert. He missed the team’s last 67 games after undergoing right knee surgery.

His finest hour this season came back on November 10 against Portland when he poured in 31 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and doled out 3 assists.

Some have speculated that the move is a precursor to the team giving a two-way contract to F Ish Wainright, who dropped a career-high 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists against the Clippers Thursday.
