For the seventh time in his career, Tom Brady hoisted the Lombardi Trophy at the end of Super Bowl LV. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers steamrolled the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. Brady threw three touchdown passes, including two to former Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski, and the Buccaneers’ defense sent Patrick Mahomes scrambling all night.
Brady now has more Super Bowl rings (7) than any NFL franchise. Social media had a lot to say about Brady’s accomplishment. LeBron James, the GOAT of his own sport, got the comments started.
Brady’s former team, the New England Patriots, also congratulated the 43-year-old on his epic achievement. As did former teammate Julian Edelman.
