Shocking Deflate-Gate Front Page From ‘New York Post’

Photo © NY Post via newseum

The New York Post publication has always been odd to me: a presumably right-wing paper, it tends to toe the line between common decency and downright bad taste. Who will forget the front page story about a slum lord’s murder with the title “Who Didn’t Want Him Dead,” or when the headlines of Obama commenting on the Anthony Weiner scandal stated “Obama Beats Weiner:” so it does not shock me to see a picture of Tom Brady and Giselle Bundchen, with a caption “What a Blow!”

Unfortunately, they also added in bubble text, where Giselle asks her husband, “Tommy, why did your balls go soft?” Yes, that is the front page of a major news organization, but can we really be surprised at the Post’s behavior anymore?
