The New Orleans Saints (7-1) signed former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant to a one-year deal on Wednesday, thus continuing to bolster a juggernaut offensive attack.
The free agent was dealt a one-year contract that will pay him $600,000 on base salary for the rest of the season, and he has the ability to earn an additional $500,000 in incentives. Some of Bryant’s former teammates and other NFL contemporaries congratulated the wideout, proud that he finally got a chance with another team. Bryant was released by the Cowboys in April after eight years, and said at the time the move wasn’t his decision.
